On the 25th of April is Anzac day. That is the day when young men fighted for Australia in Gallipoli.

Anzac stands for,

There was dawn services around Austrlia early in the morning and everyone had a minute of silence

words were said,

They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old;
Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn.
At the going down of the sun and in the morning
We will remember them.

My word of the week is

Footy!

Hi guys.

On a saturday night I sat down and watched the first GWS game played at ANZ staduim.

GWS versed the sydney swans and lost by 63 points.

The are the 18th team to enter in the AFL and the new teams arent usally good!

GWS have drafted a lad called Israel Folau. He didnt play a very good game with only 2 kicks and one handball, but its great to see a rugby player taking on the footy players.

We have a certain amount of time to complete several tasks as well as we can and of course enjoy while we do it.

It is the end of the football season and a few weeks ago we had our Blackwood Best and Fairest !

There are five trophies to be won and here are the people who got them.

Hi guys

On our last game it was Harhdorf vs Blacwood in the Under 13′s.

We went into it as favourites though they hade there home advantage.

It was a draw a three quarter time and they kicked 4 goals on us. Wea ll dropped our heads and lost the 2011 Grand Final!

You know what sucks the most is that we had beat them 2 times before

The Under 17′s won and so did the B grade. Congatulations.

BUT

the big one the A grade lost by 1 point against Uradila [ The cabbage cutters]

It was a dissapointing weekend and lost the biggest game of the year!

Hi Guys

On my blog you may of seen wooden spoon as a word of the week!

WELL

I support Port Adelaide from AFL ad they were on the bottom of the ladder and when you are on the bottom you get a wooden spoon

BUT

at the first game played at adelaide oval we beat the Melbourne demons and are now off the bottom YEY!!!!

To all the people who bagged Port Adelaide

AND

My footy club Blackwood Under 13′s are in the 2011 grand final. After beating Hahndorf in the semi we are

automatically in the grand final!
